Tournaments & Angler of the Year

2017 Angler of the Year Program

The point of Angler of the Year is to reward the MKFC angler with recognition for a year of great fishing. Non-tournament fish will be entered in the same way as our online tourney entries are made via the internet with email. The AOY will receive a prize to be determined, as well as a trophy which will get passed on yearly to each years successor. Please submit any ideas or questions so everyone is clear. Good luck to all in 2016.

Points will be awarded as follows. All paid members will receive a base 50 points. Every month each angler will receive 25 points whether a fish is submitted or not. Each month a target fish will be identified. Largest fish will win. Fish can be culled until the last day of the month at midnight. First place will get 75 points, second gets 50 points, and third will get 25 points. Identifiers will be available off of the facebook page documents or via email.

Congrats to the Sept/Oct winner for AOY. Only one fish was entered this month by Greg Woodall. His 16 inch bass will put him into a ties with Cameron Tetterton. Going to be a closes finish.
